The campaign for Savannah River Nuclear Solutions (SRNS) started out of a concept to grow the number of participants in their plan. I also wanted to incorporate the “Get Sunny” tagline and overall messaging to get to a brighter retirement.
During my research I discovered various flowers native the South Carolina, where SRNS is headquartered. I pulled together several illustrative elements, animated them and built a full campaign around the various stages of getting to a stage where a participants retirement outlook could be categorized at sunny.
The audiences were broken out into various categories depending on their level of participation in the plan. Crafting content to speak to these people, as well as adding in an animated banner produced and average open rate of nearly 40%. The text message (SMS) campaign resulted in a 20% response rate (benchmark is 3%), and the lenticular mailer received a 20% response rate (benchmark 1-3%). Due to the effectiveness of the campaign, it won several Eddy Awards.
